Even if Matthew Stafford's illustrious NFL career is winding down, the former Georgia Bulldogs star quarterback seems to have checked the latest box on his way to probable Canton enshrinement. During the Los Angeles Rams' latest victory over the season, Stafford completed 24-of-36 passes for 280 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions. His great performance sank San Francisco 42-26.
As Stafford marches on toward a probable Pro Bowl season, he is very much in the NFL MVP race for the 7-2 Rams. This may be his age-37 season out of Georgia, but there still looks to be something great in tank.
