Former Georgia football coach Mark Richt has agreed to terms on a contract extension with Miami through the 2023 season. Richt joined the Hurricanes for the 2016 season, after mutually agreeing to part ways with Georgia.
Coming off of a New Year’s 6 Bowl appearance, Richt received a new contract from the ‘Canes on Thursday. This is certainly well-deserved, as Richt led Miami to their first 10 win season since 2003.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami has extended the contract of head football coach Mark Richt through the 2023 season, Director of Athletics Blake James announced Thursday.
