Rubio, a Florida alum, had some fun calling out Auburn fans when on the campaign trail in Alabama. Monday, he seemingly enjoyed ribbing the Georgia Bulldogs.
“They keep calling (Tuesday) ‘the SEC primary.’ There’s some ACC schools in there. This is a Georgia Tech town, right?” Rubio said to the crowd.
You have to think Rubio was having some fun with Bulldog fans. After all, he even book-ended his question to the crowd with a “Go Gators.” He also even mentioned Clemson with South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in the room.
It seemed as if Rubio was almost willing to mention any school except for Georgia.
