Bogged in the middle of the SEC standings, this time of year is all about leverage for the Lady Bulldogs basketball team.
And they have a pretty good chance to improve that position over the next handful of games.
Georgia’s latest close loss, Sunday’s 59-58 setback to Auburn after the Lady Bulldogs couldn’t quite hold onto a 13-point lead, dropped them to 13-9 overall and 4-5 in the SEC.
Officially, that places Georgia tenth in the standings. The other half of that is there’s a logjam of teams with 5-4 and 4-5 records with Kentucky being third.
