Kirby Smart spoke to the Georgia baseball team on Thursday to assist in getting them ready for their upcoming regional this weekend. The ‘Diamond Dawgs’ are set to host their first regional since 2008 with Duke, Troy, and Campbell coming to town.
Georgia is the 1 seed in the bracket, so they get to face the 4 seed in Campbell on Friday. Duke (2) will be the designated home team against Troy (3) earlier in the day.
Georgia had a practice session on Thursday before meeting in the locker room with Smart. The Bulldogs’ head football coach told the baseball team that “all you need to be, is what you’ve been all year.
