Georgia football fans have been ecstatic about the opportunity to watch heralded running back Zamir White run the ball in red and black for quite some time now.
In August of last season, White unfortunately tore his ACL in a non-contact play.
This coming season, assuming White is good to go, he should play a large role in Georgia’s offense, especially with the departure of Elijah Holyfield.
On Tuesday, Smart said White will be out for the entirety of spring drills while he recovers from last August’s injury.
“Zamir is coming back, doing really well, but he won’t be doing spring practice other than doing some stuff on the side, doing some running,” Smart said.
