Jim Chaney can add to his background of developing QBs at UGA

Nathan Peterman thought so highly of Jim Chaney that he followed the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach to two different college football programs.

Peterman signed to play for Chaney at Tennessee in 2012 out of Bartram Trail High School in St. Johns, Fla. After Chaney was hired at Arkansas, Peterman started games for the Volunteers against No. 19 Florida in 2013 against No. 4 Alabama in 2014. Peterman left Tennessee and enrolled at Pittsburgh in June 2015 as a graduate transfer to play for Chaney again.

“He’s a really smart guy, I love him to death,” Peterman said.
