Jalon Walker's underwhelming NFL preseason debut is nothing fans should worry about

Jalon Walker became the first Georgia Bulldogs to be selected by the Atlanta Falcons since the 1960s, and fans are eager to see what he can do in the NFL. Walker was selected by the Falcons with the No. 15 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and on Friday night, he made his NFL Preseason debut against the Detroit Lions.

Walker impressed during training camp, even suffering a small hamstring injury late in July, and now it's his time to figure out what the NFL is really like in preseason.

Walker played just 19 snaps, but was a part of the starting lineup along with fellow first-round pick James Pearce Jr.
