The Georgia Bulldogs escaped Neyland Stadium with a 44-41 comeback win over the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday.
There were questions about quarterback Gunner Stockton going into the game, and he answered many of them with an outstanding performance as the Dawgs came back three separate times to earn the big win and move to 3-0 on the season.
Gunner Stockton proved he's willing to throw it downfield
Stockton's first pass of the game was a perfect deep ball down the right sideline, connecting with Colbie Young for 45 yards.
Not only was it an answer to the Vols' quick touchdown to begin the game, it was a statement that offensive coordinator Mike Bobo isn't afraid to let his QB fire the ball downfield to get those big chunk plays that are necessary to be prolific on offense.
