To begin, let’s start this Monday off right!
On Saturday, Athens played host to the Torrin Lawrence Memorial and the Dawgs took advantage. The seniors on the team were recognized and continued to put up a series of solid, consistent performances. As expected, the veterans are laying the foundation on which the rest of the season will be built. In the meantime, several freshmen are coming on strong and putting up impressive performances of their own. Over the weekend, three such freshmen, Titiana Marsh, Elija Godwin, and Sakari Famous, did just that.
In the triple jump, Marsh opened with a career best 44 feet, 2 ¾ inches.
