Georgia football needed to struggle against Austin Peay. Their 28-6 win was the perfect outcome Saturday night.
And no, that isn’t a hyperbole.
Georgia struggled on offense for much of this game while their defense dominated like they should. The Bulldogs have a dominant defense every year, so that was never in question, but there were a lot of people doubting Georgia’s offense this season. Those doubters however were turned into believers after Georgia’s dominant week one victory over Marshall.
So after a week of having everyone sing their praises, Georgia’s offense needed a poor showing like this to better prepare themselves for the season ahead.
