According to FanDuel, Georgia quarterback Jamie Newman (+1600) has been listed as one of the favorites to win the 2020 Heisman Trophy.
Newman is tied at No. 6 with Houston transfer quarterback D’Eriq King, and behind Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields (+175), Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence (+430), Oklahoma quarterback Spencer Rattler, and Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez (+1200).
Newman arrived on campus in Athens earlier this week as news broke last Friday night that his name was in the UGA Student Directory. Then on Saturday, he made it official, announcing via his Twitter.
Newman led Wake Forest to an 8-5 record this past season in his first year as a starter.
