Boling was last seen on that viral video running a 9.98 second 100 meters. A 9.98 would have placed the high school senior seventh in the 2016 Summer Olympic finals (won by Usain Bolt with a blistering 9.81). However the time was wind-aided and therefore not eligible for the official record books.
But Boling did follow it up with an official 10.
