Georgia reports 3 NCAA violations involving football program

Georgia reported three NCAA violations involving the football program last fall, according to documents obtained through an open records requests Friday.

Though no classification was provided on the severity of the violations, all three look to be minor and without significant consequence.

One violation involved two Georgia assistant coaches who called a recruit and the recruit’s father in September. Both calls lasted one minute each. Former defensive line coach Tracy Rocker, identified as one of the two coaches, was not scheduled to call the recruit and received a letter of admonishment.

Georgia was not prohibited to call the recruit from Nov.
