Georgia QB JT Daniels Granted Immediate Eligibility by NCAA

The Georgia Football program got some great news Monday morning when USC transfer quarterback JT Daniels tweeted that he was granted immediate eligibility by the NCAA.

Daniels elected to transfer to UGA in May and arrived on campus for voluntary workouts in June. Even though Georgia added graduate transfer quarterback Jamie Newman back in January, the Bulldogs staff still went after the former No. 3 ranked pocket-passer in the 2018 class, behind Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence and Ohio State’s Justin Fields.

Thank you to the NCAA for granting me immediate eligibility and allowing me to play football this fall.
