ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia didn’t practice in full pads, but that didn’t stop the Bulldogs from preparing accordingly for Georgia Tech’s unique offensive style.
Specifically of note during Monday’s practice, the Georgia inside and outside linebackers worked on getting ready for the Yellow Jackets’ use of cut blocking, which they use as a part of their triple-option offense.
Meanwhile, the defensive linemen mostly prepared for Georgia Tech’s pulling offensive linemen.
Georgia Tech averages 260.27 rushing yards per game, which ranks ninth nationally.
Other practice notes:
– Sophomore defensive tackle DaQuan Hawkins-Muckle (ankle), junior offensive guard Isaiah Wynn (knee) and sophomore wide receiver Michael Chugbu (knee) were all back at practice in regular full-contact jerseys.
