Pat Allen, a junior offensive lineman at the University of Georgia, has announced plans to transfer from UGA in a tweet sent on Tuesday.
“First of all I’d like to thank Jesus Christ, My Lord and Savior, for all the blessing that he has given me and pray that he continues to watch over me and bless me on my journey,” Allen said via twitter. “I’d like to thank coach (Kirby) Smart and coach (Sam) Pittman and all of the support staff for their teachings and help developing as a player and a man overall. After careful consideration and careful talks with my family and my coaches, it’s with pain in my heart that I inform you all, and Dawgnation that I will be transferring and opening up my recruitment from the University of Georgia.
