Georgia-Kentucky halftime report: stats and scores

The Georgia men’s basketball team trails Kentucky by four points heading into halftime at Stegeman Coliseum.

The Bulldogs got out to an early 11-6 lead on the Wildcats before Kentucky started to pull ahead. However, Georgia was able to tie the game at 27, though the ‘Cats regained control to head to the locker rooms up 35-31.

At the break, Nicolas Claxton (9) and Derek Ogbeide (7) lead the Bulldogs in scoring. Georgia is shooting 40% (12-30), but the 3 ball just isn’t falling. Teshaun Hightower and Jordan Harris have the lone 3-point baskets for the Bulldogs, though they are shooting an abysmal 15.
