Besides Deandre Baker, Isaac Nauta, Mecole Hardman, Terry Godwin and the other Bulldogs in Indianapolis last week, it appears two Georgia rising juniors were invited to the NFL Combine.
According to ESPN, the NFL invited several highly regarded underclassmen to the NCAA Elite Football Symposium. Among those invited, were UGA sophomore quarterback Jake Fromm and sophomore offensive tackle Andrew Thomas.
The symposium was held at NCAA headquarters in Indianapolis and provides guidance to elite undergraduates on how to properly prepare for the NFL and transition to life in the league. Presentations are made on how to handle NFL agents, contracts, money, branding and social media.
