Kirby Smart knows Dan Mullen’s program well from his days as defensive coordinator at Alabama, and the players have watched MSU game film, including this past weekend’s 37-7 dismantling of LSU.
Smart says Mullen has a constant theme with all his teams.
“Physical and big,” Smart said. “They have all kinds of ways to run the ball. I don’t think I’ve ever played him when they didn’t have a running quarterback.
