Georgia football lost their No. 1 commit in their 2026 recruiting class on Tuesday as five-star quarterback Jared Curtis announced that he was flipping his commitment to Vanderbilt. This news really didn’t come as that much of a surprise since he has been trending that way for the last month, but it’s still very unfortunate to see.
Georgia now has to pick up the pieces and find a quarterback to replace him, and at this point it’s not clear who that will be. But while Georgia fans wait to see who that player is, they can look ahead to next season and the opportunity UGA will have for some revenge.
