The greatest tight end probably to ever played at Georgia almost wasn't a Bulldog. When joining Will Compton and Taylor Lewan on their podcast Bussin' with the Boys, former Georgia tight end and current Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers shared that he almost didn't pick the Bulldogs and went in the completely opposite direction.
Bowers had his decision for where to play his college career down to two spots, Georgia and Washington, two very different programs on opposite ends of the country. The Napa, California native said that the Washington Huskies were as much in the mix as the Bulldogs were, and a big reason for that was the proximity to home for him, but also, they had a great coaching staff.
