First, let me say that nothing has “officially” been confirmed about Kirby Smart’s being named the next coach for the University of Georgia. What has been said is there are numerous reports pointing to it being a “done deal”, and we should expect an announcement after the Crimson Tide finish playing in the SEC Championship Game this weekend.
That’s all we’ve heard.
