Georgia Bulldogs linebacker Mekhail Sherman came to Athens as a four-star recruit in the class of 2020. He played in nine of 10 games last season, when he primarily played on special teams as a true freshman. He recorded a pair of tackles, but may be in for a larger role as a sophomore.
Sherman plays primarily outside linebacker, but he is a versatile player and could play some at inside linebacker.
