Georgia Bulldogs defensive back Ameer Speed started at corner along with Jalen Kimber in Georgia’s spring game. Speed finished the contest with seven total tackles, but he was beat on a deep pass.
Kirby Smart has brought in more competition at cornerback since the spring game. Now, Alabama transfer Brandon Turnage and Clemson transfer Derion Kendrick will compete with Speed for the starting role.
