The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to Anthony Lucas, who is the No. 1 recruit in Arizona. Lucas is a member of the class of 2022. He plays football for Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Lucas plays both defensive tackle and defensive end. He’s ranked as a four-star recruit and the No. 116 recruit in his class.
Interestingly, Georgia football offered Lucas a scholarship after two key in-state defensive line prospects pushed back their commitment dates. Lucas’ scholarship offer could be unrelated to that.
The Georgia Bulldogs currently have three defensive line commitments in the class of 2022: Tyre West, Bear Alexander, and Darris Smith.
