Georgia Football: Five offensive takeaways from the Austin Peay game

Demetris Robertson didn’t have a single catch in his first game as a Georgia Bulldog. In fact, going back and watching the game again, I can’t remember seeing the Dawgs even look to throw the ball in his direction. But with one handoff from Justin Fields, Robertson showed what all of the hype was about when he chose to come to Georgia in July.

His 72-yard end around run showcased true blazing speed and the sort of home run ability that fans were hoping for. That’s the kind of physical ability that is just so rare. I know that the Dawgs were taking on a lower level program, but it’s hard to see how any cornerback catches Robertson on that sort of play.
