There were two quarterbacks in 2017 that had success against Georgia’s defense. One of those was Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield. The other was Missouri quarterback Drew Lock.
Lock will now face Georgia football for the fourth time in his career on Saturday. He is winless in his three previous starts against the Dawgs. He did, however, have a solid game against Georgia’s defense last year.
The Missouri quarterback threw for more than 250 yards and four touchdowns last season against the Dawgs in Athens. Three of those touchdowns came in the first half which kept the game closer than most people would have liked early on.
