Georgia football had all the momentum in the world. The Bulldogs were riding a nine game win streak entering the College Football Playoff and just dominated Alabama in the SEC Championship game. Their opponent (Ole Miss) also was a team they already beat this season and they were predicted by nearly everyone to win again.
But that did not happen. Ole Miss had control of the game for most of the night and were able to kick a game-winning field goal with a few seconds remaining to win 39-34.
