Georgia used a dominating rushing attack and a stingy defense to limit Kentucky to three first half points and ran to an SEC Eastern Division title and a 34-17 victory.
Georgia had 331 rushing yards on 50 carries and three TDs. The vaunted Kentucky rush defense had no answer for D’Andre Swift, who had 16 carries for 156 yards with two touchdowns. The Wildcats couldn’t stop Elijah Holyfield either, who rushed for 115 yards on 18 carries and a score of his own.
Jake Fromm completed 14 of 20 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown pass to Isaac Nauta.
