Georgia Bulldogs compete, win medals in Olympic track events

Numerous former Georgia Bulldog track and field stars are having success at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Former UGA standout Shaunae Miller-Uibo won gold in the women’s 400m while representing the Bahamas.

Additionally, Elija Godwin and Lynna Irby won bronze for Team USA in the mixed 4x400m relay event.

Overall, 26 former and current Georgia Bulldog standouts are competing at the 2020 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan. The majority of Georgia’s athletes will be representing Team USA.
