Georgia Bulldog legend Herschel Walker is no stranger to the bright lights of the college athletics stage. Walker won a Heisman trophy and a National Championship during his time in Athens. California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a bill that enables college athletes to hire agents and make money from endorsements this past week.
Herschel Walker could’ve made a ton of money off endorsements while he attended Georgia. Here’s his opinion on the matter:
Wouldn’t doing it the governors way create division within the team and division within the different sports on campus? We already have enough division in this country, let’s at least get this right!
