It’s been a while since I’ve written anything about the Georgia Basketball program. That’s because with the football season just days away, it’s safe to say I’ve been somewhat focused on the gridiron. However, Tom Crean continues to impress as the new head coach of the UGA basketball program. Yesterday he secured a very exciting commitment for the 2019 class.
Jaykwon Walton is a 6ft6 guard out of Mongomery Alabama. A top 60 ranked player, Walton is a long player who can shoot really well for his size. He’s been flying up the rankings since playing really well in summer league play and is exactly what Crean is looking for.
