The Georgia men’s basketball program landed its highest-rated recruit ever Monday, with the commitment of 5-star guard Anthony Edwards.

Edwards, a 6’5 guard out of Holy Spirit Preparatory School, picked the Bulldogs over Florida State and Kentucky when it was all said and done. However, UNC, Kansas and a handful of other schools were also in play late in the race.
After landing the five-star Atlanta native, Georgia now has the nation’s top recruit in both football and basketball, per 247Sports.
