Former UGA CB Deandre Baker put on commissioner’s exempt list

Former star Georgia cornerback Deandre Baker has been placed on NFL commissioner Roger Goodell’s Commissioner’s Exempt List this Monday.

The former Jim Thorpe Award winner was drafted 30th overall by the New York Giants in the 2019 NFL Draft, but was charged with four counts of armed robbery with a firearm and four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm in May of 2020.

While at a house party, Baker was charged with robbing victims of their money and watches while threatening them with a firearm.
