Former Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett will be returning to Athens for the 2019 season, after transferring out of the program last spring.
Bennett previously left to play at Jones County Junior College for 2018 but will be returning amid reports of freshman quarterback Justin Fields transferring.
Once a walk-on for the Bulldogs, Bennett is now on scholarship, giving Georgia some much-needed depth for the anticipated departure of Fields.
However, he is not the only quarterback to sign with the Dawgs Wednesday. Earlier in the morning, 4-star Dwan Mathis flipped his commitment from Ohio State to Georgia.
