The Georgia Bulldogs are in the College Football Playoff for the first time facing a matchup with Big 12 champion Oklahoma on January 1 in Pasadena.
Former Georgia quarterback DJ Shockley joined 1010XL Jax Sports Radio in Jacksonville Tuesday night to discuss the Dawgs’ road to the Playoff.
“I knew going into the game that it would be a little bit different from that first matchup,” Shockley said regarding the SEC Championship Game. “It gave Kirby Smart and his staff a chance to get a different game plan together. I thought Jake Fromm was able to make some big plays on third-down which he wasn’t able to do in the first game.
