Georgia football has had a lot of great quarterbacks come through the program over the last few decades. Joe Cox however is one of the more forgotten players. He was a great Bulldog during his five year career in Athens, but he was quickly passed on the depth chart by Matthew Stafford and failed to see the field that much throughout his career.
However, every player is important to the program. So even though Cox didn't play very much he should still be supported throughout his coaching career wherever it takes him.
Former Georgia QB joins Lane Kiffin's staff at LSU
Cox has quickly risen up the coaching ranks over the last decade, and now he is heading to LSU to join Lane Kiffin as his co-Offensive Coordinator and tight ends coach.
