Former Georgia Bulldog Nic Fink qualifies for Olympics

Former Georgia Bulldog great Nic Fink has qualified for the Tokyo Olympics. Fink, who will swim in the men’s 200 breaststroke, will be a first-time Olympian.

Nic Fink will represent the United States after he advanced to win in the ultra-competitive U.S. swimming trials. Fink swam an impressive 2:07.55 to finish first. His club teammate, Andrew Wilson, finished second.

The duo swim for the Athens Bulldog Swim Club in Georgia, but it should be noted that Andrew Wilson did not attend the University of Georgia. The pair pushed each other and may compete against each other again in the Olympics.
