Former Georgia Bulldog DL fighting colon cancer

Former Georgia Bulldogs defensive lineman Deangelo Tyson is fighting colon cancer. Mark Richt, John Theus, and Kirby Smart are among those spreading the message to help Tyson.

Deangelo Tyson is from Statesboro, Georgia, and played for three seasons in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens. Tyson additionally had a short stint with the Seattle Seahawks.

Tyson played with the University of Georgia under Mark Richt from 2008-2011. The Ravens selected him in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL draft. The former Georgia Bulldog went on to win a Super Bowl in Baltimore.

Now, Deangelo Tyson faces an even tougher challenge: cancer.
