Sony Michel and the New England Patriots handily defeated the New York Giants 35-14 on Thursday Night Football. Former Georgia Bulldogs were in the limelight in yet another primetime football game.
Sony Michel contributed eighty-six rushing yards on twenty-two carries. Michel didn’t find the end zone as Tom Brady scored two rushing touchdowns. More importantly for the Patriots, Michel is becoming a larger part of their passing game. Traditionally New England runs the ball with Sony Michel in the game and passes when James White is on the field. White is one of the best receiving backs in the NFL, but Michel is no slouch either.
