Former Georgia defensive lineman Marcus Stroud joined 1010XL Radio in Jacksonville this week to talk about the Bulldog’s victory over Florida.
“As always, every year that we play Florida it’s a big game, especially coming off the little hiccup we had against LSU,” Stroud told 1010XL. “We needed to come out and play well and get a big win and that is exactly what the Bulldogs did.”
Stroud has liked what he has seen out of Kirby Smart and his staff so far in Athens.
“Kirby has done a great job,” Stroud said. “That’s not to say that Coach (Mark) Richt wasn’t doing a good job because he was, but Kirby has seemed to get us in a better position in the national spotlight.
