For Georgia, it's simple. Run the damn ball

In what has been heralded as one of the most anticipated matchups of the 2019 college football season, Georgia faces its first true test of the season as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish make their first ever trip to Sanford Stadium.

This contest is only the third football meeting between the two historically successful programs, both of which ranking within the fifteen winningest intercollegiate football teams since the inception of the sport in 1869.

Each prior competition ended in favor of the Bulldogs: the first in the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day 1981, resulting in Georgia’s most recent national title, and the second in South Bend, Indiana, in then-freshman now-junior Jake Fromm’s first start in an already long and successful stint as the Dawgs’ field general.
