Florida football players just can't stop talking about Georgia. The Gators had their chance to take part in the 2025 SEC Media Days on Wednesday, and one of the topics most discussed by the Florida players in attendance was how they "almost" beat Georgia last season.
“We almost had them (Georgia). I feel like we almost had them,” Florida defensive lineman Caleb Banks said via on3.com.
The leader of the Florida football team this fall is quarterback DJ Lagway. He projects to be one of the top quarterbacks in the entire country this season, but even he can't shake the feeling of almost beating Georgia last year.
