ESPN’s Holly Rowe says work helps her cope with ongoing cancer battle

ESPN’s Holly Rowe is undertaking her second fight against cancer. She continues treatment after February surgery to remove tumors caused by a rare form of cancer, desmoplastic melanoma. Rowe took time out of her fight to join Rachel Baribeau’s initial “Joy in Sports” podcast.

“That’s been really amazing. It’s made me realize how much we need to help people going through cancer,” Rowe told Babibeau when asked about the outpouring of support she’s received. “I go up to Huntsman Cancer Hospital every day, and I’m in the middle of getting my treatments and they are nasty and it’s not fun.
