Former Georgia defensive line coach Tracy Rocker was fired from his job when he left the school in February, according to documents obtained by multiple outlets through an open records request.
Rocker, who also was associate head coach, was given a notice of termination signed by athletic director Greg McGarity on Feb. 6.
“The decision has been made to discontinue your services as associate head coach,” the note read. “The University is hereby terminating your agreement of January 1, 2016. Please consider this advance written notice of your termination.”
By Feb. 7, it had been reported that Rocker was no longer with the program, but the circumstances were unclear as the school never publicly commented about it.
