Diamond Dogs look for less walks, more consistency against Kennesaw State

The Georgia baseball team enters this week hoping to break some bad habits.

In their last seven games, the Diamond Dogs (15-10, 2-4 Southeastern Conference) have walked 48 batters. There are other factors in play, of course, but the high walk total is a major reason why Georgia went 2-5 in those games.

“You’ve got no way of winning consistently if you keep putting guys on base and giving them free chances,” Georgia coach Scott Stricklin said.
