Athens, GA – After taking game one of the series on Friday, 9-0, the No. 4 Diamond Dogs took both games two and three from the Owls in Saturday’s doubleheader at Foley Field.
In the first game, Georgia and Santa Clara would need extra innings to settle the score. Tied four-all in the bottom of the 12th with two outs, the Bulldogs’ Tucker Bradley took the Owls Travis Howard’s pitch 393 feet over the fence in right-center for a walk-off homer to lift Georgia 5-4 over Santa Clara.
