The weather may be cold in Athens, but Daniel Nichols has been red hot at the plate for the Diamond Dogs.
Nichols, a senior, went 3-for-4 with one RBI against Charleston Southern Wednesday night, leading Georgia (6-3) to a 5-3 win over the Buccaneers (3-5). His performance Wednesday gave him a 6-for-7 mark in the series and three total RBIs against the Buccaneers.
