Diamond Dawgs begin to find their sea legs despite continued troubles at the starting pitching position

Coach Scott Stricklin and his team learned a little more about themselves today in a 10-3 victory over the Jacksonville State Gamecocks tying the series heading into today’s game. While the Dawgs did wind up on top this go ‘round, this victory revealed that Georgia has yet to find confidence in its pitching.

In his post-game interview Stricklin explained that the team as a whole “played much better” than yesterday, but didn’t forget to mention that Jaden Woods and Liam Sullivan need some work. He didn’t seem disappointed, but just realistic and said that the two of them should and would put together a good week of practice to prepare for oncoming opponents.
